This Torsen T2R differential is manufactured from Ford Performance (formerly Ford Racing) to fit a rear end that is 8.8″ along with 3.31, 3.55, or 3.73 Super 8.8″ Gear Sets. As a standard part of the 2015-2024 GT Performance Package, this differential will take your Pony to a whole new level regardless if you are using it on the road or pushing it on the track. Designed to fit 34-spline axles, this differential will support a solid rear-end or new Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) installation.

The highlight of the performance upgrade is that you’ll see a significant increase in the torque performance of your 2015-2024 Mustang. Your Pony will enjoy full-time torque-sensing & biasing while you push it during those heavy use times. Torque-sensing will keep your engine power to the ground while going through a variety of traction situations, while torque bias will provide how much more torque this differential can send to your tires. Ford Performance also designs this differential to have a limited slip, so it will transfer 100% of torque to each rear wheel simultaneously, allowing both wheels to put the power down on the ground for increased traction and a better overall driving experience.
