This hood replaces the factory one using simple hand tools, reusing the factory latches and hinges. The hood louver is fully functional and vents engine bay heat. The hood features a removable water drainage tray that channels water forward, allowing it to drain away from moving engine parts. Added hood clearance leaves room for forced induction, taller intakers, or other top-end upgrades. This hood is designed to work around the Cobra Jet and Boss 302 intakes, or superchargers that require ample hood clearance. The heat extractor hood features an exclusive channel on the underside of the hood that conceals the washer nozzle hoses. The hood reuses Ford washer nozzles and keeps them hidden for a show-quality look.
